I am not a big fan of New Year’s.
Holiday-wise it is pretty lacking. What has New Year’s ever given me?
Christmas : presents, family, love
Valentine’s Day : candy and cards
St. Patrick’s Day : an excuse to pinch people
Thanksgiving : a dead, delicious turkey
New Year’s : drunk people shouting into the night, a Twilight Zone marathon, and incessant gym commercials due to people’s resolutions.
Not so great.
